This dragonfly is a fast and strong flyer, and one of the more ferocious species. It preys on other dragonflies. Although quite common in our parks, this species is usually not numerous where it occurs. I found this at the boardwalk along the Dragonfly Lake.

With the micro lens, you can see its colour scheme of yellow, a bit of blue, and green.
