Neurothemis fluctuans – Common Parasol The Red Grasshawk, also known as Common Parasol (Neurothemis fluctuans), are Singapore’s most common dragonflies. Males have brownish-red thorax and abdomen. Wings are almost entirely brownish-red except the tips and a thin tapering clear band around the hind margin from about its midpoint. Females are duller in color and has clear wings.
